The Optical Sensors Laboratory (OSL) at Dublin City University is a multi-disciplinary
team of more than 20 researchers who develop optical solutions
to real world measurement problems in areas such as environmental
monitoring, biomedical sensing and food safety. Projects
range from fundamental investigations of anisotropic emission
in optical waveguides to the development and testing of
a prototype instrument for human breath monitoring of
athletes in training. OSL is a node of the National
Centre for Sensor Research (NCSR) and is also closely associated with the Biomedical Diagnostic Institute (BDI).
